Foley Sound

Our films audio track is 100% artificial. All of the voice overs, ambients, music and speech we added in post production. All audio that was originally shot has been removed. For the film we were unable to aquire an external boom microphone with a wind muff, and due to poor wind a lot of the shots were contaminated with sound peaking, which is not very professional. I have made an image which shows how the audio would look if it was 'peaking'. The audio in the red area will sound crackly.

Below the video shows us recording a dragging sound effect, which will be used in the Industrial Estate scene, when Joe White is being dragged along the road. For this we used a RĂ˜DE microphone, which was connected using panasonic camera and MIDI cables. The video's thumbnail shows the set up.
