The video below shows the colour correction process and how we edited the footage to make it look like an authentic neo noir. The typical film-like green/blue style colour scheme (cool colours) keeps the theme in a negative light. This connotes what is happening in the film, as Joe White is having a negative experience during the film.

Ancillary Task: Film Review

Speedart of Design Proccess
The video below shows a fastened video of my film reviews design. I used another online, web-based review site to aid my ancillary task, this website can be seen here. The vehicle of the review is a younger audience, who subscribe to online movie review websites aimed at teens.
Film Review Text
The Circus returns and so does Grimes with her award nominating performance in this months newest Neo-Noir, Networked. Spectrum Pictures have released another prestige film which will be coming to cinemas on March 30 2014.
The outstanding lead role performance from James Tucker will put you on the edge of your seat. Networked uses his voice narration to tell the story of Joe White’s misfortune, as he is held hostage by the Circus. Always one step behind Ivy, the Circus are on the move; trying to track down her every move. But one question remains, will Joe survive his abduction?

Networked Credits
The title and credits were designed in After Effects with a plugin called Plexus. In this plugin particles can be connected using lines and even triangles, using noise to increase the dispersion.
Below the screenshot shows the programmes interface, with Plexus loaded on it. This screenshot is of the title which says networked in capital letters. The lines connote actual networks, as the connections between each particle are constantly changing.
This screenshot below shows the credits, and shows the connections have been broken, which is what happens in our film noir (Joe White's connection with his family is broken).
